DMCA Copyright Policy

DSDMods respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the platform to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement on our website that are reported to our designated copyright agent identified below.

1. Reporting Claims of Copyright Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material on DSDMods infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated DMCA agent that includes the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• A clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• A clear identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (URL, screenshot, or post ID) to enable us to locate it on the site.
• Your contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

3. Counter-Notification

If material you posted to DSDMods has been removed as a result of a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification. A counter-notification must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which DSDMods may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or an agent of that person.

4. Repeat Infringers

DSDMods has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers of copyright. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the platform and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

5. Misrepresentations

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages.
